Washing tips: Certain ingredients, which include sun care products, can accumulate on textiles, bind dirt or sweat and cause discoloration. If the product is rubbed well into the skin and not only applied superficially, this problem will occur less. If the skin is damp, the skin cannot absorb the cream and is transferred to the fabric.
These – often yellowish spots – can best be removed by soaking them in citric acid (e.g. from a drugstore / pharmacy): dissolve about 12 g of citric acid per liter of water (warm) and soak the clothes for about 24 hours and then wash them according to the care instructions of the manufacturer. Pretreatment with citric acid removes the residues and completely removes them during washing.
