Mivolis early pregnancy test with increased sensitivity (can be used 6 days before the missed period).
1 test strip for self-use at home.
Intended use:
The Mivolis Early Pregnancy Test Strip Test with increased sensitivity is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin in urine for the early detection of pregnancy.
This product is intended for self-testing and in vitro diagnostic use only.
Test principle:
The Mivolis Early Pregnancy Test is a rapid, one-step lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine to assist in the detection of pregnancy.
The test uses a combination of antibodies, including a monoclonal hCG antibody, to selectively detect elevated hCG levels.
The assay is performed by adding the test to urine and obtaining the result from the colored lines.
The test contains anti-hCG particles and an anti-hCG coating on the membrane.
Materials:
– 1 test strip (hCG, 10 mlU/ml) in foil pouch
– 1 instruction manual
Additionally required:
– 1 watch for timekeeping
– 1 clean container for collecting the urine sample
Sample collection and preparation:
The urine sample should be collected in a clean and dry container.
A first morning urine sample is preferred as it generally contains the highest concentration of hCG; however, urine samples collected at any time of day can be used.
Urine samples with visible particles should be settled to obtain a clear sample for testing.
For healthcare professionals: The sample may also be centrifuged or filtered.
If the urine sample cannot be evaluated immediately, it should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 48 hours before testing.
For longer storage, samples can be frozen and stored at -20°C.
Frozen samples should be thawed and mixed before testing.
Test procedure:
Allow urine sample to room temperature (15-30 C) before performing the test.
Bring the test cassette and
1. Open the foil pouch by tearing it open at the notch and remove the test.
Perform the test immediately or within one hour.
2. Hold the test strip in the urine up to the mark to start the test.
Note: The urine sample must not exceed the Max line on the test.
3. Remove the test strip from the urine sample after 15 seconds or leave it in the urine sample and start the time
recording immediately.
4. Read the result after 3 minutes.
The result must no longer be evaluated after 10 minutes.
