The heat patch from GRÜNSPECHT can have a beneficial effect on pain and tension in the neck or back area.
Thanks to the practical universal size, the self-adhesive patch is ideal for any part of the body and heats up automatically when it comes into contact with oxygen.
In addition, the 100% compostable filling* consists of iron powder and activated carbon.

Warnings
Do not use the heat patch directly on the skin to avoid burns and skin irritation!
The GRÜNSPECHT “Natural Heat Patch” is designed so that it can be easily and securely attached to close-fitting clothing.
We recommend wearing cotton underwear for the best results.
Follow the instructions for use and monitor the application area regularly.
Allow air to circulate over the heat patch and do not apply pressure (e.g. with a belt).
Use should only be carried out under careful supervision in people who cannot remove the patch themselves.
Check the skin regularly for signs of burns.
Remove the heat patch immediately if you feel uncomfortable with heat, have skin irritation or burns.
The heat patch must not be • used while sleeping,• used in shoes, socks or under your feet, •burned, • shaken, kneaded, cut, folded or torn before or during use,
• microwaved or any other attempt made to reheat the heat patch or • brought into contact with water or other liquids.
It is not suitable for use
• on babies and children under 12 years of age, • on people with reduced pain sensitivity,• on bedridden people and people with a tendency to develop skin ulcers,
• for use in conjunction with pain balm, medicinal lotions, creams, ointments or other heat sources,
• for use on fur or high-quality textiles,• for use on an area where there is redness, inflammation, skin cracks/bruises or skin irritation,
• for use on parts of the body where heat cannot be felt, • for use during sporting activities,
• for use directly after a bath or shower or • during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
Please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you
• suffer from poor circulation, circulatory problems or a heart disease, • suffer from diabetes,
• suffer from nerve damage or a reduction in sensory functions,
• suffer from a skin disease, • suffer from rheumatoid arthritis or • are pregnant.
Warning !
The heat patch contains iron, which can be harmful if swallowed or in direct contact with mucous membranes.
If the ingredients are swallowed, rinse the mouth with water.
If it comes into contact with the eyes or other mucous membranes, rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.
In all of the above cases, medical advice should be sought immediately.
Instructions for use
Step 1: Open the foil bag by hand at the perforation to remove the heat patch.
The heat patch is activated by contact with air and then heats up on its own
– the bag should therefore only be opened when the heat patch is to be used.
When opening, make sure that the patch does not come into contact with moisture.
Step 2: Check the heat patch for its integrity before use.
Do not use the product if the contents of the heat cell leak out and/or the patch is damaged or torn.
Step 3: Remove the release paper from the adhesive side of the patch.
Step 4: Apply the heat patch with the adhesive side firmly to a piece of clothing that is as tight-fitting and close to the body as possible (e.g. cotton undershirt) on the desired part of the body.
Apply the patch smoothly – there should be no folds or bulges.
It can take up to 15 minutes for the patch to achieve the warming effect.
Wear the heat patch for as long as you find comfortable.
We recommend that you do not wear the patch for more than 12 hours within a 24-hour period.
After a maximum of 12 hours, slowly remove the heat patch.
If you notice slight redness of the skin, this is due to the warming effect of the patch.
If the skin is still red after a few hours, do not use a heat patch until the redness has completely subsided.
The patch is intended for single use only and should be disposed of after use.

Storage instructions
Please store the heat patches in a cool, dry place, away from children, pets, moisture and direct sunlight.
In the closed foil bag, the product is stable until the expiration date stated on the back of the foil bag.
