Description
Godolphin E.d.P. spray Godolphin
The English Thoroughbred breed can be traced back to three founding stallions: Darley Arabian, Byerley Turk and Godolphin, which is known as Godolphin Arabian or Godolphin Barb.
The Berber stallion Shams, born around 1724, was presented to King Louis XV as a gift from the Beys of Tunis. and only got its well-known name from its last owner, the 2nd Earl of Godolphin.
The fragrance “Godolphin” by Parfums de Marly was dedicated to this important animal. Under the aegis of saffron is the beginning, which gathers thyme, cypress and green notes.
Right from the start there are also fruity notes and a tart touch of maté.
The leathery-looking saffron works across the heart of rose, iris and jasmine into the sumptuous leather base, whose accord of vetiver, cedar wood, musk, ambergris and vanilla is reminiscent of a soft and extremely finely crafted leather.
A highly sophisticated, fine leather fragrance presented by Parfums de Marly with “Godolphin”, with a lively and optimistic green.
