The origin of the word “Chai” can be found in the Northern Chinese word “chá” and simply means tea.
Many centuries ago, tea spread with caravans along the Silk Road.
The route led through Persia, various Arab countries, Turkey and Greece.
In most of these regions, tea is still generally known by the term “Chai.”
“Chai tea,” which is popular in this country, has its origins in India and is called “Masala Chai,” which translates as a tea-spice mixture.
Traditionally, everyone in India makes their own chai tea – each family has its own recipe in which various spices are combined into a mixture and boiled with milk, sugar or honey.
Usage instructions
Important note: Always pour the tea over with boiling water and let it steep for at least 5 minutes.
This is the only way to get safe food!

For one cup of tea, pour boiling water over a tea bag, let it steep for 5-8 minutes and stir.
